Forsythe has earned a reputation as one of the nation's top shooters.
CINCINNATI --- Xavier University Sedler Family Head Basketball Coach Sean Miller announced the signing of four-star prep standout Jayden Forsythe, a 6-5 guard/forward from Norristown (Pa.) Westtown School, to an Athletics Aid Agreement. Forsythe is a Top 100 recruit in the On3 national recruit rankings at No. 94.
"We are very excited for Jayden to join our basketball program at Xavier," said Miller. "He is an amazing player, student, and young man. Jayden comes to us from a great high school program at the Westtown School and has challenged himself against elite competition on the EYBL circuit while playing with the storied Philadelphia-based program, Team Final. Jayden is a smart, skilled guard and has proven to be one of the best 3-point shooters in the country. We can't wait to have Jayden on campus."
Forsythe, who has played for Seth Berger at the Westtown School, is ranked as the No. 1 overall recruit in Pennsylvania for the Class of 2025, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings, and the No. 110 recruit nationally.
Forsythe was the only player on the EYBL circuit to shoot over 40 percent from 3-point range on 75+ 3-point attempts. He averaged 9.5 points for Team Final at the Peach Jam this past summer, while shooting 39 percent from 3-point range.
