Women’s Basketball Adds Two Players on Signing Day

Coach Chambers announced the two additions on Thursday
CINCINNATI - Xavier head women's basketball coach Billi Chambers announced the signing of two players to the 2025-26 roster on Thursday.
Penda Dieng, F, 6-3, Louga, Senegal (S3 Academy)
Kodee Williams-Sefo, G/F, 6-1, Auckland, New Zealand (Westlake Girls HS/St. Mary's College)
NOTABLES
Averaged 10 points and six rebounds per game at S3 Academy in Petersburg, Va., from 2022-24… added two assists and one block per game… helped SC Academy to a 22-15 record in 2022-23 and a 26-5 record in 2023-24... helped her AAU Team Cap City Ballerz win the EYCL Championship in July of 2024… averaged 13 points and four rebounds per game during the summer of 2023 and 2024 with Cap City Ballerz… added two blocks per game… helped Cap City Ballerz post a 27-5 record in 2024, a 26-8 record in 2023 and a 27-4 record in 2022… daughter of Talla Dieng and Nogaye Khoule… intends to major in business.

Penda is an exceptional athlete who will fit perfectly into our defensive culture and will help us continue to elevate our standard on this side of the ball. She is an elite rim protector who can shift out and guard the perimeter, as well. Her athleticism and IQ will help us continue to push toward a more up-tempo style of play.

Played at St. Mary's College from 2019-22 and Westlake HS from 2022-24… was named to the AA Girls All-Tournament Team at the NZSS National Championship in 2023… was named to the AA Girls All-Star 5 and Tournament MVP at the 2024 NZSS National Championships… helped Westlake to a 29-2 record in 2023, finishing first at the Auckland Championships, the 1st AA Premiership and the NZSS National Championships… helped Westlake to a 29-0 record in 2024, finishing first at the 1st AA Premiership and the NZSS National Championships… also finished first in the 3x3 Senior Regionals in 2024… also played club basketball for the North Harbour Team… played for the U20, U15A and U14A Girls New Zealand Teams… was named the tournament MVP at the U15A Girls National Championship in 2022… daughter of Aele Sefo and Monique Williams… major is undecided.

Kodee's versatility will allow her to come in and have an immediate impact. She is a hybrid player, who can play with her back to the basket but also brings strong guard skills. A relentless competitor who plays with a selflessness that makes everyone around her better – she brings the right mindset to our program and will help us grow immensely.
