PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Xavier volleyball team took down Providence 3-1 (25-15, 20-25, 25-20, 27-25) on the road Friday night.

The Musketeers dominated in the first set, holding the Friars to a .048 clip in the opening frame.

After dropping the second set, XU bounced back in the third behind Anna Taylor's 5-for-7 hitting.

The Musketeers improve to 10-15 (8-7 BIG EAST) while the Friars fall to 7-19 (0-15 BIG EAST).

Emma Grace led the Musketeers with 14 kills and 14 digs for her 25th career double-double.
Anna Taylor followed up with 13 kills on a .440 clip.
Elouise Czajkowski recorded a career-high 19 digs to lead the Musketeer defense.
Margo Kemp contributed 10 kills on .318 hitting.
Sarah Stevens added six kills and three blockson a .385 clip.
Logan Flaugh dished out 50 assists for the sixth time this season to go along with two kills and two blocks.
Kelsey Niesen tallied 16 digs and a career-high four kills.
Lucia Corsaro rounded out the double-digit defenders with 14 digs of her own.
The Musketeers hit .216 in the match, snapping a three-game streak below .200.
