STORRS, Conn. - The Xavier volleyball team fell to UConn in straight sets (23-25, 27-29, 22-25) on Saturday afternoon. The Musketeers split the season with the Huskies after previously defeating them in five sets at home.

Xavier held UConn to a .077 hitting percentage in the first set behind three blocks and 15 digs. UConn only hit a combined .169 throughout the whole match.

The Musketeers fall to 10-16 (8-8 BIG EAST) while the Huskies improve to 22-6 (10-6 BIG EAST) to end their home slate at 14-1.

Emma Grace added seven kills, six digs and two blocks of her own.
Margo Kemp contributed six kills and three blocks including two solos.
Logan Flaugh recorded her 16th career double-double with 23 assists and 13 digs.
Anna Taylor had five kills and matched her career-high four blocks.
Lucia Corsaro recorded 13 digs for her sixth straight match in double figures.

Xavier returns home next weekend to close out the regular season against Marquette and Creighton. First serve Friday against the Golden Eagles is set for 6:00 p.m. The Musketeers will then celebrate Senior Day on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. against the Bluejays.
