LAST TIME OUT

• Xavier wrapped up action at the Music City Challenge on Feb. 10. The two-day meet was held at the Vanderbilt Multipurpose Facility in Nashville, Tenn.

• Xavier had eight top-10 marks in school history at the meet. All told, the Musketeers have posted 22 top-10 marks in school history this season with one new school record.

• Freshman Laila Hankerson broke her own school record in the 60-meter dash for the second time in as many meets - posting a time of 7.58 during the preliminary races.

NOTABLES

• The Xavier women combined to record 14 top-10 performances in school history during the 2023 indoor season, highlighted by two school records. Claire Sievern set the school record in the one-mile run (4:49.43) and the 4x800 meter relay team (Parker Hopkins, Jamie Klavon, Emily Sienna, Claire Sievern) established a new school record (8:59.82) in the event.

• The Xavier men combined to record 12 top-10 performances in school history during the 2023 indoor season, highlighted by one school record. Sean Beam posted a time of 49.08 in the 400-meter dash, ranking first in school history.

• The 2024 BIG EAST Championships are being held at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Indoor Track and Field Center in Chicago for the third time in as many seasons. The Xavier women placed ninth at the meet last season, while the men placed eighth.
