Xavier Collects Four BIG EAST Championships During Day Three at the Conference Meet

Musketeers set new school records in three events
On the men's side, Xavier collected gold medals in a pair of individual events, and stayed perfect in relays, now 4-for-4 on gold in relay events.
On the women's side, Jordyn Libler used a school-record performance to collect an individual gold medal.
The 2024 BIG EAST Championship is set to wrap up on Saturday, with prelims set for 10 a.m.
- Erin Ritz set a new school record and an NCAA B-Cut time fo 53.52 to place second in the Championship final of the fly. Norah Simich placed sixth in the Championship final.
- Emma Amon scored in 15th place overall, swimming in the Consolation final. Anna Baker touched in first place in the Bonus final, swimming as an exhibition entrant.
- Kate Lair led Xavier in the 400 IM, setting a finals time of 4:33.56 to place 15th overall, competing in the Consolation final. Emily Guerrera also qualified for the B-Final.
- Sydney Smith and Abby Bocian scored in the Bonus final of the 400 IM while Ally Zaleski and Maddie Agans took part in the Bonus final as exhibition entrants.
- Clara Keiser picked up a silver medal in the 200 free, setting a time of 1:48.66. Kali Fischer placed fourth and Alexis Worrall finished fifth in the Championship final.
- Olivia Oyster took part in the consolation final of the 200 free, scoring in 11th.
- Jordyn Libler set a new school record in the prelims of the 100 breast, breaking her own mark, then bested that time in the finals, finishing with a time of 1:01.26 to win the gold medal, Xavier's first conference title in the event.
- Emma Amon and Molly Dynda both took part in the Consolation final, scoring in 10th and 12th place respectively. Kate Lair swam in the Bonus final.
- Reese Turner finished fifth in the Championship final of the 100 back with a time of 55.63.
- A trio of Musketeers, Amy Van Son, Julia Sweetman and Charlie Ramey, scored in the Consolation final of the 100 back, and Abby Bocian took part in the Bonus final.
- Xavier's squad was DQed from the 400 medley relay.
- The Musketeer women have 674.5 points, sitting in fourth place of seven teams.

- Aiden Leamer picked up a silver medal in the 100 fly with a time of 47.67 in the Championship final. Caleb Petranchuk also swam in the A-Final, finishing fifth.
- Matt Fralic finished 10th overall and Brayden Mandacina placed 14th, competing in the Consolation final.
- Jack Parker led three Musketeers in the Championship final of the 400 IM with a time of 3:52.79 to place fourth. Nathan Wall placed sixth and Michael Benington placed seventh.
- Jon Mason took part in the Consolation final of the 400 IM, scoring in 13th.
- Luke Peterson set the top qualifying time during prelims and bested during the Championship final, winning gold with a time of 1:37.20. Luke Peterson placed second in the Championship final and Ryan Knipp placed sixth.
- CJ Sorensen and Adam Lamping took part in the Consolation final of the 200 free.
- Ethan Saunders, who set the top time in prelims in the 100 breast, set a new school record in the Championship final with a time of 53.69 on the way to his third-straight BIG EAST Championship in the event. Brayden Mandacina placed sixth in the Championship final.
- Matthew Adanin set a time of 49.44 in the 100 back Championship final to take the bronze. Gage Hannewyk also took part in the Championship final, placing sixth.
- Matt Fralic took part in the Consolation final of the 100 back.
- Matthew Adanin, Ethan Saunders, Aiden Leamer and Kyle Hudson set a school-record time of 3:13.94 to win the 400 medley relay to wrap up the evening.
