Individually, Emma Welch placed tied for ninth with a score of 213 (-3)

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Xavier women's golf placed sixth at the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate on Tuesday. The two-day tournament was held at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.

The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 866 (+2) in a field of 19 teams. Sam Houston State won the tournament with a score of 848 (-16), five strokes ahead of runner-up UTSA (853, -11).

Individually, Emma Welch led the Musketeers with a score of 213 (-3) - ranking tied for ninth in a field of 102 golfers. The ninth-place finish is the highest of Welch's career.

Emma Bunch (New Mexico State) and Christin Eisenbeiss (North Florida) took home medalist honors with a scores of 204 (-12). Western Kentucky's Catie Craig placed third (208, -8).
