LAST TIME OUT

• Xavier placed sixth at the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate on March 5. The two-day tournament was held at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.

• The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 866 (+2) in a field of 19 teams. Sam Houston State won the tournament with a score of 848 (-16), five strokes ahead of runner-up UTSA (853, -11).

• Individually, Emma Welch led the Musketeers with a score of 213 (-3) - ranking tied for ninth in a field of 102 golfers. The ninth-place finish is the highest of Welch's career.

• Emma Bunch (New Mexico State) and Christin Eisenbeiss (North Florida) took home medalist honors with a scores of 204 (-12). Western Kentucky's Catie Craig placed third (208, -8).

NOTABLES

• Xavier won its fourth straight BIG EAST Championship on April 19, 2023. The Musketeers are the first team in conference history to win four straight conference titles.

• Xavier placed tied for seventh at the NCAA Westfield Regional on May 10, 2023, the team's fourth straight NCAA appearance. The seventh-place finish was the highest team finish for the Musketeers at an NCAA Regional. Xavier's previous top finish was 10th at the 2022 NCAA Ann Arbor Regional.

• Xavier returns three golfers from its postseason roster in Kara Carter, Erin Kim and Madison Reemsnyder. Carter and Reemsnyder both earned All-BIG EAST honors at the conclusion of the season. Carter has seven career top-10 finishes, while Reemsnyder has three.

• Coach Jenco earned BIG EAST Coach of the Year honors for the fifth time in her career in May of 2023. She also picked up the honors in 2016, 2019, 2021 and 2022.

• Xavier finished fifth or better in nine of its 10 tournaments during the 2022-23 season. The Musketeers won three tournaments to go along with two runner-up finishes. The Musketeers have 13 top-two finishes dating back to the spring of 2021 (eighth tournament titles; five runner-up finishes).
