Xavier picks up their first win over Detroit Mercy in the series history
CINCINNATI - Women's lacrosse moved to a 3-1 home record after a statement win over Detroit Mercy on Tuesday afternoon.
The Musketeers advance to 3-3 (0-0 BIG EAST) and the Titans fall to 0-6 (0-0 MAC).

• Lola Mancuso and Kirra Crowley topped the Musketeer scorers with four goals each, Mancuso notching her 11th career hat trick and Crowley reaching her second. Crowley, the freshman midfielder jumped on four straight opportunities in the first quarter, coming out victorious on each attempt. She becomes the second Musketeer to record a hat trick in just one quarter of a game and is the first to score four consecutive goals. Â
• Also contributing to the scoring efforts were freshman midfielder Megan Droney with two goals, and redshirt junior attacker Dylan Halloran and freshmen midfielder Katherine Prentice with one apiece.Â
• Along with her two goals, Droney also accumulated a game-high three assists, totaling five points. Halloran tacked on an additional two assists, a Xavier career-high, and Crowley and Prentice followed up with one apiece.
• Freshman defender Colby Wasson and sophomore midfielder Gianna Cua led efforts on defense outside the crease with two caused turnovers apiece, a game-high. Cua and Wasson were also team leaders in ground balls with Cua boasting four and Wasson collecting three.
• Mancuso led efforts on the draw with three controls, her fourth game as the leader in the category. Prentice, junior midfielder Julie Cassidy, and freshman midfielder Greer Simonton followed the efforts with two apiece.
• Freshman goalkeeper Teegan Lannon secured her first career win in the cage with nine saves, tying her previous career-high set against Akron.
• The Musketeers saw two scoring sprees, reaching three or more goals in both.
• Xavier out-paced Detroit Mercy in shots, ground balls, draw controls, free position goals, and assists.

• The Musketeers totaled 12 goals, 19 points, 14 draw controls, 19 ground balls, nine caused turnovers, seven assists, and nine saves.
