Emma Welch set the BIG EAST Championship record for lowest round (66) on Sunday

OKATIE, S.C. - Xavier women's golf remains in first place after two rounds of action at the BIG EAST Championships. The three-day tournament is being played at Callawassie Island Golf Club.

The Musketeers have a 36-hole score of 580 (+4). Georgetown ranks second (582, +6), while Seton Hall ranks third (597, +21).

Individually, Emma Welch ranks first with a 36-hole score of 137 (-7). Georgetown's Megan Gormley ranks second with a score of 140 (-4).

Welch hit six-under-par (66) on Sunday, the lowest round score in the history of the BIG EAST Championships.
