CINCINNATI - Xavier outdoor track and field wraps up regular-season action at the Clark Wood Invitational on April 26-27. The two-day meet is being hosted by the University of Louisville at Owsley B. Frazier Cardinal Park.

LAST TIME OUT

• Xavier wrapped up action at the Jim Green Invitational on April 20. The two-day meet was held at the UK Outdoor Track & Field Complex. The Musketeers recorded four top-15 finishes at the meet.

• Myla Toole posted the ninth fastest time in school history in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (11:15.00), while Audrey Bishop also posted the ninth fastest time in school history in the 400-meter dash (59.43).

• Liam Willman reestablished his second-place times in the Xavier record book in both the 110-meter hurdles (14.80) and 400-meter hurdles (55.27) at the meet.

NOTABLES

• The Xavier women combined to record eight top-10 performances in school history during the 2023 outdoor season, highlighted by two school records by Claire Sievern. She set the school record for the 1,500-meter run (4:24.46) and the 800-meter run (2:05.84).

• The Xavier men combined to record 12 top-10 performances in school history during the 2023 outdoor season, highlighted by Trevor Nolan who set the school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (8:52.30) at the BIG EAST Championships on May 12.

• Trevor Nolan and Claire Sievern both competed at the 2023 NCAA East Regionals on May 25-26 in Jacksonville, Fla.

• Xavier has sent student-athletes to the NCAA Regionals in back-to-back seasons (Rachel Butler competed in the 10,000-meter run on May 26, 2022).
