CINCINNATI - Xavier women's golf continues its spring season at the Chattanooga Classic on April 7-9. The three-day tournament is being held at Council Fire Golf Club in Chattanooga, Tenn.

LAST TIME OUT

• Xavier placed seventh at the Pinetree Women's Intercollegiate presented by Henssler Financial on March 26. The two-day tournament was held at held at Pinetree Country Club.

• The Musketeers posted a 36-hole score of 622 (+46) in a field of 10 teams. Charleston Southern and Northern Illinois tied for first place with scores of 603 (+27).

• Individually, Erin Kim paced the Musketeers with a runner-up finish with a score of 148 (+4) - the highest finish of her career. She now has five career top-10 finishes.

• Erin Kim was named the BIG EAST Golfer of the Week on March 28. The senior golfer earned the honors for the first time in her career.

NOTABLES

• Xavier won its fourth straight BIG EAST Championship on April 19, 2023. The Musketeers are the first team in conference history to win four straight conference titles.

• Xavier placed tied for seventh at the NCAA Westfield Regional on May 10, 2023, the team's fourth straight NCAA appearance. The seventh-place finish was the highest team finish for the Musketeers at an NCAA Regional. Xavier's previous top finish was 10th at the 2022 NCAA Ann Arbor Regional.

• Xavier returns three golfers from its postseason roster in Kara Carter, Erin Kim and Madison Reemsnyder. Carter and Reemsnyder both earned All-BIG EAST honors at the conclusion of the season. Carter has seven career top-10 finishes, while Reemsnyder has three.

• Coach Jenco earned BIG EAST Coach of the Year honors for the fifth time in her career in May of 2023. She also picked up the honors in 2016, 2019, 2021 and 2022.

• Xavier finished fifth or better in nine of its 10 tournaments during the 2022-23 season. The Musketeers won three tournaments to go along with two runner-up finishes. The Musketeers have 13 top-two finishes dating back to the spring of 2021 (eighth tournament titles; five runner-up finishes).
