ATHENS, Ohio - Xavier volleyball was swept by Ohio in their second game at the Bobcat Invitational by scores of 25-20, 25-23, and 26-24. The Musketeers fought off four straight set points in set two and never trailed by more than three in the final set.

Xavier falls to 0-2 (0-0 BIG EAST) while Ohio picked up their first win for a 1-0 (0-0 MAC) record.

Notables

Margo Kemp matched her debut match kill tally of nine for a .537 hitting percentage.
Charlotte Moriarty and Emma Grace each contributed six kills while Moriarty led the defense with 13 digs.
The Musketeers only allowed two aces by the Bobcats and forced 12 errors.
Kelsey Niesen made her second appearance of her rookie season, recording eight digs to follow up her nine from the morning's game against App State.
The fifth set saw 12 ties in a back-and-forth battle where the Musketeers recorded 13 kills.
