CINCINNATI - Carissa Fumarola was added to Xavier Athletics Sports Medicine staff on Thursday. She will serve as the athletic trainer for lacrosse and swimming.
Fumarola previously served as the athletic trainer for field hockey at Miami (Ohio). Prior to Miami (Ohio), she was an athletic trainer at Broughton HS in Raleigh, N.C. from 2023-24.
Fumarola also has experience as an athletic trainer with Cincinnati Bearcat Football (2022-23) and the Cincinnati Cyclones (2021-22).
Fumarola earned a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Miami (Ohio) in 2022. She also holds a master's in sports administration from Cincinnati ('25).
