Men's Basketball Hosts Marist In Monday Night Regular Season Opener

CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers host the Marist University Red Foxes on Monday, Nov. 4, in the regular season opener for both teams and the debut of Xavier first-year head coach Richard Pitino. Xavier is shooting for its 36th-straight win in a regular season opener.

Xavier returns no scholarship letterwinners for the first time in school history. Senior Roddie Anderson III practiced with last season's NCAA Tournament team but was a redshirt.
