CINCINNATI --- Xavier University head coach Richard Pitino announced that he has received a signed scholarship agreement from Kalek House, a 6-3 guard from Chandler, Ariz.
"We're excited about the addition of Kalek House," said Pitino. "He is a tough guard who has a great desire to impact the game offensively and defensively. We have been recruiting him for a long time, love his competitive spirit and are excited to get him here on campus."
House is a four-star guard in the Class of 2026, according to 247Sports. He is ranked as a top 20 shooting guard. He also was an ESPN four-star recruit who made ESPN's latest "Top 100" list at No. 92.
House averaged 22 points per game during the 2023-24 season at Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Ariz., before transferring to national prep basketball program AZ Compass Prep in Chandler, Ariz., last season.
Kalek House is the son of Eddie House, who played for nine teams over 11 NBA seasons and won a championship with the Boston Celtics in 2008. He is the younger brother of Jaelen House, who played for Richard Pitino at New Mexico from 2021-24.
