Volleyball Announces 2026 Signing Class

Addison Haberthy, Sadie Kroeger, Gabby Semona and Cami Sher will join the Musketeers in the 2026 season.
CINCINNATI - Head coach Christy Pfeffenberger announced four new signees that will join the volleyball program in 2026.Â

Addison Haberthy is a setter from Greenwood, Ind., where she attends Roncalli High School.
At Roncalli, Haberthy is a three-year varsity player where she accumulated 1,924 assists, 416 digs, 194 kills, 81 aces and 81 blocks. She is a two-time 3A State Champion and a three-time Regional Champion. She was named to the AVCA Watch List twice in her career and was a member of the Max Preps Juniors All American Team in 2024. As a junior, Haberthy was an Indianapolis Star Indiana Player of the Year nominee and a Prep Volleyball Player of the Year finalist. Ahead of her senior year, she was a Pre Season Max Preps All American. She has played club volleyball for Circle City and Team Indiana.
"Addie has grown up in the gym and around some great players," said Pfeffenberger. "She has a great IQ on the game and is a natural leader. She understands the grit and connection it takes to be a strong team. I am excited to coach her finally!"
Haberthy is undecided in her major at Xavier. She is the daughter of Michael and Kathleen Haberthy and has two siblings, Jordan and Sean. Her mother, Kathleen, played volleyball at Xavier and brother, Sean, played volleyball at King University.

Sadie Kroeger is an outside hitter from Murfreesboro, Tenn., where she attends Providence Christian Academy.Â
At Providence Christian, Kroeger has played four years of varsity volleyball, accumulating 1,228 kills, 937 digs, 146 blocks and 123 aces. She was the State Championship MVP as a sophomore in 2023 where she led her team to a state title with a 36-3 record. She is a four-time All District and All-Region selection and three-time All State selection. She finished her senior season with an 18-8 record and a trip to the Elite 8. She has played club for Mid TN and Rhythm Volleyball Academy.
"Sadie is so passionate when she plays the game, it is hard to turn away," said Pfeffenberger. "The girl is the definition of grit and she makes sure that those around her play with the same passion. It will be exciting to have her in our gym finally!"
Kroeger plans to major in sports management at Xavier. She is the daughter of Samantha Tragarz and Joshua Kroeger and has four siblings, Ledger, Jett, Joanie and Jameson.

Gabby Semona is a middle blocker from Cincinnati, Ohio, where she attends Saint Ursula Academy.
At Saint Ursula, Semona is a four-year varsity player where she has maintained a .450 kill percentage and accumulated 98 blocks. She has been named First Team All-District and All-League and was an OHSVCA District All-Star. Semona led Saint Ursula to a 23-4 record in her junior season. She has played club for Tri-State Elite for six years and was named to the AVCA Watch List.
"It is always exciting to have a local player on the team," said Pfeffenberger. "Gabby brings natural athleticism and I am excited to see how she grows her game while at Xavier. She comes from a great program and has played at some of the best levels in the Midwest. Her future is bright!"
Semona plans to major in sports management at Xavier. She is the daughter of Louis and Michele Semona and has two siblings, Liza and Louie. Her mother, Michele, was a swimmer at South Carolina and brother, Louie, is a junior on the Western Kentucky men's basketball team.

Cami Sher is an outside hitter from Olathe, Kan., where she attends Olathe West High School.
At Olathe West, Sher has been a four-year varsity player and holds the record for both single-season and career hitting percentage. She has been named to the All Sunflower League First Team twice and the All-State and All-State Tournament Team once. She is a four-time All Academic First Team selection. Sher led her team to a 34-6 record in her junior season and a 30-8 record as a senior. She also played eight years of club volleyball for KC Power.
"I am thrilled to be adding Cami to our group of pin attackers," said Pfeffenberger. "She has a natural gift in the game and has played at the highest level all through high school. She will bring up our level of play in the practice gym!"
Sher plans to major in actuarial science at Xavier. She is the daughter of Heidi and Andrew Sher and has one sister, Lexi.
