Xavier's Filip Borovicanin Has Been Named To The BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll For A Second Time

The senior came close to a triple-double vs. Missouri State.

CINCINNATI --- Senior Filip Borovićanin has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll for his efforts in the win over Missouri State on Friday. Borovićanin had 13 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and just one turnover in the win.

This is the second time this season that Borovićanin has been named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll. He also earned the honor on Dec. 1.

Borovićanin is ranked in the top 10 in the BIG EAST in four major categories: third in rebounding at 7.4 rpg., seventh in assists at 4.0 apg., tied for eighth in steals at 1.5 spg. and third in assist-to-turnover ratio 3.38.

Xavier, 8-3, takes a five-game winning streak into its BIG EAST opener vs. Creighton on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. at Cintas Center.
