MacKenzie Givens Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

The Cincinnati native earns the honors for the second straight week

NEW YORK - MacKenzie Givens was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. She earns the honors for the second straight week.

Givens led Xavier to a 2-0 week with wins over Long Island and Saint Francis. The guard/forward averaged 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, while adding a .611 field-goal percentage (11-for-18). She chipped in five blocks, three steals and one assist.

Givens had 18 points and 11 rebounds vs Long Island on Dec. 9, her first career double-double. She posted 13 points and seven rebounds vs Saint Francis on Dec. 14.

Givens and the Musketeers return to BIG EAST action on Friday, Dec. 19 at Butler. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. from Hinkle Fieldhouse with the game being aired on ESPN+ and The Varsity Network.
