Musketeers wrap up trip to Arizona at 2-2
Oregon State took control early, posting a five-run bottom of the first. The Musketeers got a pair of runs back in the top of the second after Connor Misch and Landon Mensik both got aboard with walks to start the inning. Eddie Peters got on with a fielder's choice and Jason Jelic walked to load the bases for Jake Lambdin, who hit a two-RBI single, bringing in Misch and Peters.
The Beavers posted another five-run frame in the next half inning to lead 10-2, and added runs in the fourth and fifth to make it a 13-2 advantage, which held through the sixth inning.
In the seventh, Jelic hit a single to start the inning and Lambdin hit into a fielder's choice to give Aedan Anderson a runner on first. Anderson hit a single up the middle, and a OSU error allowed Lambin to score, making it a 13-3 Oregon State.
The Beavers posted another five-run frame in the seventh, leading 18-3. Xavier picked up two runs in the eighth, after Hayden Christiansen got on with a single, then Landon Mensik hitting into a fielder's choice to put a runner on for Clay Burdette, who hit a a two-run homer. The Musketeers added the final run to the 18-6 final score in the ninth, with Anderson getting on with a walk and scoring on a double from Joe Karpierz.
Xavier wrapped up its trip to the Sanderson Ford College Baseball Classic with a 2-2 record.

- Ben Weber came in from the bullpen with the bases loaded and no outs in the second. He went 3.0 innings with four hits allowed, with one unearned run scoring. He had a strikeout and a pair of walks.
- Logan Schmidt came in for the fifth inning, allowing two runs in 2.0 innings on four hits, striking out a pair without issuing a walk.
- Jack DeTienne pitched the seventh, allowing five runs on four hits, striking out one and walking one in 1.0 inning of work.
- Trevor Geddes came in for the eighth, not allowing a run in the final 1.0 inning, allowing one hit and picking up a strikeout.
