NEWARK, N.J. - Xavier men's basketball picked up a fourth-straight win after holding off Seton Hall late to take a 73-66 win at the Prudential Center on Sunday afternoon.
The Musketeers improved to 18-10 (10-7 BIG EAST), while the Pirates moved to 7-20 (2-14 BIG EAST)
Xavier returns home to host Creighton on Saturday, March 1, set for a 4:30 p.m. tip on FOX.

NOTABLE
- Seton Hall hit the opening bucket and went ahead by as many as four in the first five minutes of the game before Xavier used an 18-2 run to move in front, building the lead out to 19 at the half, 40-21. Ryan Conwell had 15 first half points to lead the Musketeers.
- The Musketeers led by as many as 21 early in the second half before the Pirates chipped away at the Xavier advantage, getting to within 10, 55-45, with eight minutes to play. Xavier would stretch the lead back out to as many as 14, but SHU went on a 12-1 run to cut it back to a three-point game going into the final minute. A Ryan Conwell three pointer pushed the lead back out to two possessions, and the Musketeers went 5-of-6 from the free throw line to seal the win.
- Ryan Conwell finished with a team-high 22 points, connecting on 4-of-6 threes and going 8-of-8 from the free throw line.
- Dante Maddox Jr. added 12 points for the Musketeers, shooting 2-of-2 from the floor, including a three, and 7-of-8 from the free throw line.
- Zach Freemantle had 11 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
- Dayvion McKnight finished with six points, six rebounds and seven assists.
- Xavier finished with a 31-23 advantage overall on the boards. Seton Hall had a 7-4 advantage on the offensive glass, but the Musketeers had a 7-6 advantage on second-chance points.
- The Musketeers committed 18 turnovers to 13 for the Pirates but held a 20-13 advantage in points off turnovers.
