
Xavier Clocks in at the Gem City Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Xavier posted 35 top-20 finishes at the Gem City Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 8. The meet was at the Steemer Center.
Junior Myla Toole headlines the women's squad, winning the 3,000-meter run (9:52.02) and finishing as the seventh fastest run in school history.
Freshman Mateo Mosquera had himself a meet. He finished second in the 60-meter dash (6.86), the second fastest time in school history, and sixth in the 200-meter dash (22.42), the seventh fastest time in school history.
The 4x400-meter men's relay, featuring sophomores Edvards Kamaruts, Brock Harris, and freshmen Jaiden Lailson, Grant Coughlin finished first overall with a time of 3:18.85, the second fastest time in school history.Â
All told, the Musketeers recorded 14 top-10 program marks at the meet.
