Zach Freemantle Earns A Spot On The BIG EAST Honor Roll

Freemantle has been honored with four BIG EAST weekly awards this season.

CINCINNATI --- Xavier University graduate student Zach Freemantle earned his fourth BIG EAST weekly award of the season after leading Xavier with 23 points, hitting 10-14 from the field, to go with six rebounds and three assists in the Creighton win on Saturday. This marks Freemantle's third time on the BIG EAST Honor Roll. He has also earned a Player of the Week honor this season.

Freemantle leads the team in scoring (fifth in the BIG EAST at 16.8 ppg.) and rebounding (fifth in the BIG EAST at 7.1 rpg.) and has scored in double figures in every game he has played this season (26). Freemantle is 13th on XU's all-time scoring list (1,665 points) and is 10th on the all-time rebounding list (860 rebounds).

Xavier, 19-10 overall and 11-7 in the BIG EAST Conference, shoots for its sixth-straight win and its 20^th win overall when it visits Butler on Wednesday night.
