OKATIE, S.C. - Xavier men's golf ranks third in the team standings at the BIG EAST Championships after one round of action. The three-day tournament is being held at Callawassie Country Club.

The Musketeers hit one-under-par 287 on Saturday, only two strokes behind Butler and Marquette who both posted an 18-hole score of 285 (-3).

Individually, Zach Burton paces the Musketeers with a score of 70 (-2) - ranking tied for sixth. Ray Filter ranks tied for 10th with a score of 71 (-1).

Marquette's Mason Schmidtke leads the field with a score of 67 (-5).
