Musketeers wrap up season at 14-9 overall with sixth BIG EAST title and NCAA appearance
Xavier finished the season at 14-9 and won the program's fifth-straight and sixth overall BIG EAST Championship, earning the program's sixth bid to the NCAA Championships.

In doubles play, Vanderbilt picked up the first decision against Emily Flowers and Natalie Smitek on the No. 3 court, 6-0.
The Commodores clinched the point with a 6-4 win on the No. 2 court, with No. 76 Bridget Stammel and Valeria Ray taking the win against Elizabeth Pendergast and Madeleine Rexroat.
The No. 63 ranked pair of Abby Nugent and Clara Owen led Vandy's No. 1 doubles team, No. 9 Celia-Belle Mohr and Sophia Webster, 5-4, when the point was decided. The duo wrapped up the season at 16-4 in dual play.
In singles play, Vanderbilt picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win on the No. 4 court against Emily Flowers to move to a 2-0 lead. Flowers finished the season with a team-high 18 singles wins.
The Commodores made it a 3-0 lead with a 6-2, 6-1 win by No. 54 Bridget Stammel on the No. 3 court against Madeleine Rexroat, concluding the BIG EAST Freshman of the Year's rookie season at 14-6 in singles play.
A 6-2, 6-3 win on the No. 1 court for No. 5 Celia-Belle Mohr against Elizabeth Pendergast clinched the win for Vanderbilt at 4-0. Pendergast finished the dual season with 10 singles wins, eight coming in the No. 1 spot.
When the match was decided, Abby Nugent was in a second set on court No. 2 against No. 70 Valeria Ray after winning the first set, 6-2, 3-5. The First Team All-BIG EAST Selection finished the season at 14-5 in singles.
Abigail Siminski also picked up a win in the first set, leading 6-4, 2-1 on the No. 5 court when the match was decided. Siminski went 12-6 in singles during the dual schedule.
Clara Owen led in the first set, 2-0, when the match was decided. She finished her freshman season at 9-3 in singles play.
