Volleyball Defeats Austin Peay at Stacheville Challenge

Xavier opened the tournament with two wins on Friday.
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - The Xavier volleyball team improved to 2-0 on Friday night after taking down Austin Peay, 3-1, in the Stacheville Challenge.
The Musketeers remain the only undefeated team in the tournament and will close out the weekend against Murray State on Saturday afternoon.
After XU hit .250 in the opening set, the Governors responded with a dominant second set where they hit .467 with just one error.
Xavier bounced back in the final two sets, holding Austin Peay to a .014 clip with 23 digs in the fourth set alone.

Xavier will face Murray State at 12:00 p.m. EST on Saturday. The Musketeers are set to return home to host the Xavier Invitational next weekend at Cintas Center.
