Xavier Takes Down Murray State to Sweep Stacheville Challenge

The Musketeers defeated Murray State, 3-1, to complete a 3-0 weekend in Tennessee.
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - The Xavier volleyball team closed out the Stacheville Challenge with a 3-1 win over Murray State to complete the weekend sweep.
The Musketeers recorded 19 blocks in the win, the most in a single match since Sept. 21, 2018, against St. John's.
XU's offense hit .299, the highest mark on the weekend, while holding the Racers to a .083 clip.
Anna Taylor was named the Tournament MVP with Emma Grace and Macy Hatkevich earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
Xavier improves to 3-0 after winning the Stacheville Challenge while Murray State drops to 1-2 after the first weekend of the season.

Xavier returns home next weekend to host the Xavier Invitational. The Musketeers will face IU Indy first on Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. in Cintas Center. Miami (Ohio) and Eastern Kentucky round out the four-team tournament.
