Darrelyn Webster Named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week

She placed 14th at the Lady Paladin Invitational with a score of 215 (-1)

NEW YORK - Darrelyn Webster was named the BIG EAST Golfer of the Week on Wednesday afternoon.

Webster helped the Musketeers place tied for fifth at the 51st Annual Lady Paladin Invitational on Sept. 21 with a 54-hole score of 867 (+3). The three-day tournament was played at the Furman University Golf Course.

Individually, Webster paced the Musketeers with a 14th-place finish (215, -1) in a field of 92 golfers. Her best round at the tournament was four-under-par 68 in round two.

Since the start of the 2022-23 season, the Musketeers have posted 15 top-five finishes with five tournament titles and four runner-up finishes.

Xavier continues its fall season on Oct. 3-5 at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Denver, Colo. The tournament is being played at the University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch.
