Women's Golf to Compete at NCAA Louisville Regional

The tournament will be played at the University of Louisville Golf Club on May 11-13
CINCINNATIÂ - Xavier women's golf was selected to participate in the NCAA Louisville Regional on Wednesday afternoon. The tournament will be played at the University of Louisville Golf Club in Simpsonville, Ky., on May 11-13.
The top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site will advance to compete in the national championships to be played May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.Â
Xavier punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament by winning the BIG EAST Championship on April 27. The Musketeers won their seventh straight conference title by 22 strokes, the third largest margin of victory in tournament history. The seven conference titles are also the most by a single team in BIG EAST history.
Madison Reemsnyder took home medalist honors at the BIG EAST Championships, posting a 54-hole score of 209 (-7) and winning the individual title by nine strokes. She is the seventh golfer in school history to earn medalist honors at the BIG EAST Championships.
Isabel Brozena placed second, while Darrelyn Webster placed third. Brozena, Reemsnyder and Webster were named to the all-tournament team.

The Louisville Regional will be played at the University of Louisville Golf Club in Simpsonville, Kentucky and will be hosted by Louisville.Â
