Xavier made a season-high 12 three pointers on Wednesday night
CINCINNATIÂ - Xavier dropped a 64-55 BIG EAST matchup vs Seton Hall on Wednesday night at Cintas Center.
The Musketeers moved to 11-15 (4-13 BIG EAST), while the Pirates improved to 18-8 (12-5 BIG EAST).
Xavier opens a two-game BIG EAST road swing at DePaul on Sunday, Feb. 22. Tip-off is slated for 3 p.m. ET from Wintrust Arena with the game being aired on ESPN+.

NOTABLES
- Seton Hall led by as many as 15 points (55-40) with 1:49 left in the third quarter. Xavier responded by going on a 12-0 run on 5-for-11 shooting, closing within three points (55-52) with 4:09 left in regulation.
- The Pirates finished the game on an 8-3 run on 3-for-3 shooting to escape Cintas Center with their 16th straight win in the series.
- MacKenzie Givens finished with 19 points on 8-for-19 shooting. She added a team-high seven rebounds to go along with one steal and one block.
- Mariyah Noel scored 10 points and dished out six assists. The guard added four rebounds, one block and one steal.
- Meri Kanerva added nine points and a game-high eight assists. She added two rebounds in 40 minutes of action.
- Vivien Nejašmić had eight points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal.
- Xavier finished with a .396 field-goal percentage (21-for-53) and went 12-for-29 from behind the arc. The Musketeers were also 1-for-4 from the foul line.
- The 12 made three pointers are a season high and the most three pointers in a game since Jan. 10, 2020 (13 three pointers in an 85-64 win at Georgetown).
- Xavier had 19 assists, tied for the second most assists in a game this season.
- Seton Hall won the battle on the glass, 40-30, and scored six more second-chance points (8-2). The Pirates also held a 22-7 advantage in points off of turnovers and scored 12 more points in the paint (26-14).
- Both teams scored 13 bench points. Seton Hall scored one more fastbreak point (8-7).
- The Pirates were limited to a .383 field-goal percentage (23-for-60) and went 4-for-22 from behind the arc (four 3-pointers are tied for the second fewest in a game this season). Seton Hall was also 14-for-19 from the foul line.
- Jordana Codio led four Pirates in double figures with a game-high 22 points on 10-for-12 shooting. Mariana Valenzuela posted a double-double, scoring 12 points and grabbing a game-high 10 rebounds.
