The Blue Demons topped the Musketeers, 76-67, on Sunday at Wintrust Arena
CHICAGOÂ - Xavier dropped a 76-67 BIG EAST road game at DePaul on Sunday afternoon at Wintrust Arena.
The Musketeers moved to 11-16 (4-14 BIG EAST), while the Blue Demons improved to 7-22 (4-14 BIG EAST).
Xavier closes its road trip at Marquette on Wednesday, Feb. 25. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET from the Al McGuire Center.

The Musketeers moved to 11-16 (4-14 BIG EAST), while the Blue Demons improved to 7-22 (4-14 BIG EAST).

NOTABLES
- The game featured nine lead changes and two ties. Xavier led for 16:09, while DePaul led for 23:14.
- Xavier scored 26 points in the first quarter, the most points in a quarter by the Musketeers this season. The .769 field-goal percentage (10-for-13) in the frame was also a season high.
- Xavier led by as many as 11 points (26-15) with 5:36 left in the first half. DePaul finished the half on a 14-2 run, taking a one-point advantage into the locker room (39-38).
- The Blue Demons never relinquished the lead and led by as many as 11 points (56-45) with 28 seconds left in the third quarter. Xavier battled back to close within four points (61-57) on a Mariyah Noel three pointer with 6:20 left in the game.
- DePaul outscored Xavier, 15-10, to close the game and pull away for the nine-point win.
- MacKenzie Givens scored a game-high 22 points on 9-for-12 shooting, her second career 20-point performance. She added a game and career-high six steals to go along with three rebounds. The six steals are the most in a game by a Musketeer this season.
- Meri Kanerva added 14 points on 6-for-15 shooting. She added a game-high six assists to go along with two rebounds and one steal.
- Mariyah Noel rounded out the double-figure scorers with 11 points. The guard added five assists, three rebounds and one steal.
- Savannah White pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds to go along with six points. She now has eight double-figure rebounding games.
- Savannah White added two blocks and one steal. The Musketeers now have 92 blocks on the year, ranking 10th in single-season school history.
- Vivien Nejašmić chipped in seven points, six rebounds and two assists.
- Xavier finished with a .443 field-goal percentage (27-for-61) and went 4-for-17 from behind the arc. The Musketeers were also 9-for-10 from the foul line.
- Xavier had nine steals, the fourth most steals in a game this season.
- DePaul won the battle on the glass, 38-33, and scored 10 more second-chance points (16-6).
- The Blue Demons held a 26-4 advantage in points off of turnovers and scored nine more fastbreak points (18-9). DePaul held a 27-9 advantage in bench points.
- Xavier scored 10 more points in the paint (46-36). The 46 points in the paint are a season-high for the Musketeers.
- DePaul posted a .391 field-goal percentage (27-for-69). The Blue Demons were also 8-for-26 from three-point range and went 14-for-16 from the foul line.
- Kate Novik led three DePaul players in double figures with 16 points. She added a team-high nine rebounds.
