Roddie Anderson III Earned A Spot on the BIG EAST Honor Roll

Anderson is the fifth Musketeer to be honored this season.
CINCINNATI --- Xavier University graduate student Roddie Anderson III has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll after averaging 24.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals for Xavier's two games this past week. He shot 62.1 percent (18-29) from the field for the week.
Anderson scored 27 points on 11-15 shooting at Providence on Feb. 25 and followed that up with 21 points in the Georgetown win on Feb. 28. He is third on the team in scoring at 11.1 ppg.
Anderson is one of five Musketeers to earn a BIG EAST honor so far this season, joining graduate student Tre Carroll (Player of the Week on Dec. 8 and Honor Roll on Dec. 22, Jan. 19, Jan. 22, Feb. 2 and Feb. 23), sophomore Jovan Milićević (Nov. 24 and Feb. 16), senior Malik Messina-Moore (Honor Roll on Jan. 12), and senior Filip Borovićanin (Honor Roll on Dec. 1 and Dec. 15).
Xavier, 14-15 overall and 6-12 in the BIG EAST Conference, hosts Seton Hall on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in the final home game of the season.
