Gabby Davydov and Aneta Holubova set to join Musketeers in Fall 2026
CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis head coach Doug Matthews announced the addition of a pair of signees to the Musketeers' program, with Gabby Davydov and Aneta Holubova set to join the program ahead of the 2026-27 season.
"I'm excited to welcome Gabby and Aneta to the Xavier women's tennis family," said Matthews. "It was clear during the recruiting process that they were both great fits for our program on and off the court. They both fit in really well with the team during their visits. On the court, they both have great results and both have room for growth as well. Both have great all-around games and are aggressive by nature. Xavier University and our program will be better with them here! Let's go X!"
Davydov joins the Musketeers from Bellevue, Washington where she attends Seattle Academy.
Davydov is rated as a four-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net, ranking No. 77 nationally and No. 2 in the state of Washington. She's reached a career high of No. 21 in the USTA G18 rankings.
During her prep career, Davydov has claimed UTSA L2 singles and doubles titles, winning singles in Minneapolis in October 2025 and doubles in Arizona L2 in May 2025.
Aneta Holubova comes to Xavier from Kroměříž, Czech Republic where she attends Gymnázium Kroměříž.
Holubova is ranked as the No. 59 junior in Czech Republic and the No. 67 in the women's rankings.
During her career, Holubova has won a Category A tournament in Slovácko, and Category B tournaments in Valašské Meziříčí and Česká Třebová. She's also picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win over an opponent rated 10.14 UTR.
