Madison Reemsnyder Named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week

The senior earns the honors for the second time this season
NEW YORK - Madison Reemsnyder was named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week on Thursday. She earns the honors for the second time this season.
Reemsnyder took home medalist honors at the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational on April 18. The two-day tournament was played at the OSU Golf Club - Scarlet Course.
Reemsnyder placed first in a field of 75 golfers with a 54-hole score of 213 (-3). She finished ahead of 10 golfers ranked in the top-120 in the NCAA by Scoreboard CLIPPD.
The tournament title is the first of Reemsnyder's career. The Canton, Ohio, native now has 15 career top-10 finishes.
The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 905 (+41), ranking fifth in a field of 14 teams. Xavier finished ahead of No. 43 Indiana (T-6) and No. 28 Northwestern (8th).
Xavier returns to action on April 25-27 at the BIG EAST Championships. The tournament is being played at Callawassie Country Club in Okatie, S.C.
