CINCINNATI - Xavier head lacrosse coach Brittney Morris announced the hiring of Cori Collinsworth as the program's director of operations on Monday.
Collinsworth brings a diverse background in athletics administration, student-athlete development, event management and organizational leadership.
"We are thrilled to welcome Cori to Xavier Women's Lacrosse as our Director of Operations," said Morris. Her commitment to excellence both on and off the field aligns perfectly with the culture we are building here, and I have no doubt she will make an immediate and lasting impact. Xavier is lucky to have her, and I could not be more excited to have her alongside us as we build something special."

I am proud of what Xavier Women's Lacrosse represents and am committed to working tirelessly to support the development of a championship-caliber program."
In her administrative role, Collinsworth oversees operational initiatives that enhance departmental effectiveness and support the success of student-athletes, coaches, and staff. Her experience includes event management, game operations, compliance collaboration, student-athlete academic support, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and strategic planning. She is passionate about creating systems and processes that strengthen organizational performance while ensuring an exceptional experience for all constituents.

As a graduate assistant coach, she was part of a staff that accumulated a 132-41 record and made three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the NCAA Division II Women's College World Series. The coaching staff earned NFCA Midwest Region Coaching Staff of the Year honors in 2015.
As a student-athlete at Indianapolis, Collinsworth was a four-year starter at catcher and infield, helping lead the Greyhounds to a 184-44-1 record. She earned All-Great Lakes Valley Conference recognition three times, was named the 2011 GLVC Freshman of the Year, and received both NFCA Academic All-American and NFCA All-Region honors.
Collinsworth earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Indianapolis in 2014 and completed her Master of Business Administration in 2017.
