Alyson McAdams and Isaac Fiely Earn Awards at Annual Athletics Meeting

McAdams named John Kucia Campus Teammate of the Year, Fiely named Greg Park All For One Award recipient
CINCINNATI - Xavier University Vice President and Athletic Director Greg Christopher announced that Alyson McAdams is the 2026 John Kucia Campus Teammate of the Year and Isaac Fiely is the 2026 Greg Park All For One Award winner. The awards were presented at the Xavier Athletics All-Staff Meeting this week.
"Alyson is very deserving," said Christopher. "The work she does to assist Athletics and our 19 teams is instrumental. Her name came up often as someone who is supportive of our 300+ student-athletes and goes the extra mile with their career preparation. As a former student-athlete herself, Alyson is making an impact on a new generation of students."
Xavier Athletics started the Teammate of the Year Award in 2015-16 to highlight the tremendous support it receives from so many parts of campus. XU amended the award to add John Kucia's name as he retired in 2018, since John's service embodied the essence of the recognition.
McAdams is an Assistant Director of Career Development at Xavier University. In addition to the long list of majors and programs in the business and sport management areas, McAdams is the designated Student-Athlete Career Coach, specializing in student-athlete career development. She co-leads Xavier's Professional Mentor Program which matches current Xavier students with industry professionals in their desired fields to increase networking opportunities, set and track professional goals, and increase industry knowledge.Â
"Isaac's impact on Xavier Athletics goes beyond the creative content," said Christopher. "He brings a positive energy to everything he does and a passion for all of our sports. And he does it all with an unselfishness that is a perfect fit for the All for One Award."
Isaac Fiely joined the Xavier full-time staff as Assistant Director of Creative Content in March 2024 after three years as a student working as both a manager and content creator for the men's basketball team. Fiely oversees the student workers that assist in the photo and video digital coverage of all of Xavier's 19 intercollegiate sports. Fiely, a 2024 Xavier University graduate, plays the lead on producing content for all 19 teams with an emphasis on basketball.

The Greg Park All For One AwardÂ
The Award is given by the athletics staff to the individual who exceeds expectations throughout the department and works to improve Xavier Athletics as a whole. Greg Park, the award's namesake, was the first-ever athletic business manager at Xavier and spent 25 years in the role before retiring in July 2013.
