Men's Tennis Competes at UTR Sports College Circuit

BRUNSWICK, Ga. - Xavier men's tennis traveled to Georgia to take part in the UTR Sports College Circuit, hosted by Coastal Georgia from Friday, Sept. 25 through Sunday, Sept. 27, collecting 15 singles wins and six doubles wins over the weekend.

Max Pettingell and Tony Sifuentes each went 3-0 in singles play while Nick Herdoiza, Samuel Frizelle, Bode Campbell and Andrew Spurck each had a pair of wins in the singles main draw. Lukas Grossman picked up a singles win as well.

The teams of Nick Herdoiza and Tony Sifuentes, as well as Samuel Frizelle and Bode Campbell each combined for a pair of doubles wins. Andrew Spurck and Lukas Grossman picked up a win on the doubles court. Max Pettingell partnered with his brother Jake Pettingell, picking up a doubles win in the Round of 16.

The Musketeers are back in action at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional, hosted at the Farm & Forge Club in College Grove, Tenn, running Thursday, October 8 through Tuesday, October 13.
