The Xavier University Sports Medicine staff serves the student-athlete population through the prevention, recognition, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Our goal is to prevent and eliminate the potential injuries that our student-athletes may incur.
Morning therapy clinics for each of Xavier's 18 athletic teams are run out of the Cintas Center athletic training room located on the event level. The state-of-the-art facility offers the very latest in diagnostic and rehabilitative equipment. TriHealth physicians and physical therapists are available to our student-athletes in the athletic training room as well as during the week.
The Sports Medicine staff is comprised of four full-time staff athletic trainers and one graduate assistant. Xavier also offers an accredited undergraduate curriculum which allows student athletic trainers the opportunity to work with Division I athletes.
