As a Junior (2007): One of only two Musketeers to start every game in 2007 ... Anchored a Musketeer defense, which registered six shutouts, held the opposition to one goal or less on nine occasions and allowed the fewest goals since 1984 ... Dished-out two assists on the season. His first assist came early on in Xavier's 2-1 victory over Western Kentucky ... He also assisted on Chris Miliano's insurance score in XU's 3-1 win over Duquesne on November 9.
As a Sophomore (2006): Played in 17 games and started 15 times in the XU defense ... Dished-out an assist in his Xavier debut vs. Cincinnati on August 25 ... Netted his first collegiate goal in Xavier's 3-2 win over Butler on September 13 ... Was a big part of a Xavier defense that allowed three goals on only three occasions and held opponents to one goal or less 10 times. XU was 6-3-1 when allowing one goal or less ... Clines was part of an XU backline that shutout UMass 2-0 on October 8, running the Musketeers' league record to 3-0.
