2019-20: Collected eight singles wins and two doubles wins overall before the season was canceled in mid-March due to COVID-19...Had a 3-3 record in singles during fall tournament play...Went 5-8 in singles during dual action, playing primarily in the No. 5 spot (2-7) but also playing No. 4 (2-1) and No. 6 (1-0)...Helped Xavier to 7-0 wins over IUPUI and Thomas More, as well as a 5-2 win over Wright State...Went 2-4 overall in doubles, with a 2-3 mark in the fall...Played doubles in three duals, an unfinished match in the No. 2 spot with Matthew Graft and a pair of matches in the No. 3 spot with Michael Lee, going 0-1 with an unfinished match.

PRIOR TO XAVIER: A four star recruit out of Mater Dei High School, ranked as high No. 3 in the state...Played four years of varsity tennis at Mater Dei, going 104-7 in the No. 1 spot in his four years, a school-record mark...A two-time state semi-finalist in Indiana, and three-time SIAC Singles Champion...During each year of his high school career, was named All-State and was part of three team Sectional Championships.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Maria Elena and Brian Thompson, and has a younger brother, Cooper.
