Zennedjian To Compete At 2010 National Championships

IRVINE, Calif. -- Xavier junior swimmer Michael Zennedjian will compete in the 2010 ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships in Irvine, Calif. The competition takes place between Tuesday, August 3 and Saturday, August 7 at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center. Zennedjian will share the pool with top performers from around the world including current and former Olympians.
Zennedjian had a stellar year during the 2009-10 swimming season. He competed in several freestyle and breaststroke events and set meet records in the 200 medley relay at the A-10 Championships and in the 400 medley relay at the Zippy Invitational. More than 30 Olympians will compete at the 2010 National Championships, including world-record holder Michael Phelps.
This meet, which is one of the nation's top swimming competitions, will be broadcast on NBC on August 7 and August 8. The NBC show on August 7 will air from 4-6 p.m. and the show on Aug. 8 will air from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The meet will also be streamed live online at www.SwimNetwork.com.
