Mei Advances To Flight Final At UL Invite

LOUISVILLE, Ky.-- Sophomore Mesa Mei advanced to the Flight A singles final Saturday as the Musketeer men's tennis team continued its strong showing at the Louisville Invitational.
Mei defeated Kentucky's Ryuji Hirooka 6-3, 6-4 in the semifinals. In doubles play, the duo of juniors Brandon MacDonald and Philip Diaz advanced to Flight A semifinals.
Freshman Freddy Abunku fell in the Flight B consolation final to West Alabama's Anton Ivanov 6-3, 2-6, 10-8.
The Musketeers conclude play at the Louisville Invite Sunday.
