Women’s Golf Heads to UNCG Forest Oaks Fall Classic

CINCINNATI – The women's golf team travels to Greensboro, N.C. for the UNCG Forest Oaks Fall Classic on Friday. The 54-hole tournament will feature 9 teams at the par 72, 6,121-yard course at the Forest Oaks Country Club.
In addition to the Musketeers and the host team University of North Carolina Greensboro, the event features teams from James Madison, Mercer, The Citadel, Presbyterian, Winthrop, Boston University, and Towson.
Xavier was last in action September 21-22 when the team finished tied for fifth at the Ball State Cardinal Classic. Senior Shane Crutchfield finished tied for sixth individually. Crutchfield, a St. Petersburg, Florida native, shot a career best score of 69 (-3) in the first round.
Weather permitting, the event is set for 18 holes to be played on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tomorrow morning will be a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring will be available each round through Golfstat.com.
