Women’s Golf Heads to New Jersey for Rutgers Invitational

Piscataway, N.J. – The women's golf team travels to New Jersey for the Rutgers Invitational on Friday. The 54-hole event will feature ten teams at the Rutgers University home course, playing 6,300 yards and par 71.

In addition to Xavier and the host team Rutgers, the event features teams from Brown, Dartmouth, Delaware, Fairleigh Dickinson, James Madison, Long Island, Siena and Saint Johns.

Xavier was last in action at the Forest Oaks Fall Classic on October 3rd. The tournament was called after one round because of the approaching hurricane. The Musketeers, as a team, finished in second after one round with a score of 297 (+17). Senior Shane Crutchfield finished tied for second after shooting a 71 (+1).

Tee times start at 7:45 a.m. on Friday with continuous play for 36 holes. The final round will begin Saturday morning.
