CINCINNATI - After a weekend off due to inclement weather, Xavier men's tennis showed no sign of rust against foe Wright State, sweeping the raiders, 7-0.
Men's tennis jumped on the Raiders early, picking up the doubles point with back-to-back wins from tandems Zach Mueck and Matt Bishop and Jeremy Schneider and Gabriel Chaves Araujo.
In singles, the Musketeers never let up, blowing past all competitors in two sets.
With the win, the Musketeers improve to 6-3 on the season. They also stand 30-20 in singles and 14-14 in doubles competition overall. Junior Zach Mueck and freshman Arthur Stefani hold the best singles records this season at 7-2.
Men's tennis will be back in action Mar. 4th and 5th, in Texas, to take on Abilene Christian and Texas Arlington.
