CINCINNATI - Women's tennis blanked Ball State, 4-0, Friday night at Eastern Hills. The Musketeers improve their record to 3-2 on the season.
In doubles competition Amina Ismail and Sydney Liggins defeated Courtney Wild and Bethany Moore, 6-2, at the No. 1 position. Alex Brinker and Cristina Di Lorenzo followed with a 6-2 victory over Toni Ormond and Rosalinda Calderon to secure the doubles point.
Ismail started off singles play winning her match at the No. 3 position, 6-1, 6-2. Di Lorenzo won her match over Calderon, 6-2, 6-3, moving the match in heavy favor of the Musketeers, 3-0.
Freshman Lauren Ghidotti sealed the deal with a two set win over Ashlyn Rang, 6-4, 6-3.
The women are back in action tomorrow at Miami (Ohio) with a start time of 4 p.m.
