Xavier Athletics to Host Tipoff Tailgate on Opening Night

Special Veteran's Day Ticket Offer To Thank U.S. Armed Forces
CINCINNATI — As part of Friday's Opening Night festivities, Xavier Athletics will host a Tipoff Tailgate prior to the men's basketball game against Lehigh. The tailgate will be held on the Sedler Plaza outside the main entrance of Cintas Center.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase beginning at 5 p.m. Local food trucks participating include Packhouse, Bones Brothers Wings, Waffo, and Chicken Mac Truck.
Joe Danneman and Jeremy Rauch from FOX19 Sports will broadcast live from 6:15 – 7 p.m., giving fans a preview of the night's action and the entire 2016-17 season ahead for the Musketeers.
Tip-off is at 7:01 p.m. as Xavier takes on Lehigh. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at GoXavier.com or any Ticketmaster outlet. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
In celebration of Veteran's Day, and to show appreciation to the men and women who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, Xavier will provide two complimentary tickets, while supplies last, courtesy of Xavier University's Center for Veterans Affairs. The offer is available to all military and government service personnel with an active military ID or retired personnel in person at the Xavier Athletics Ticket Office through Thursday, November 10.
The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a Xavier men's basketball schedule poster.
