Women's Golf Travels to Florida for First Spring Tournament

ESTERO, FLA. – The Xavier women's golf team travels to Florida today for the FGCU Eagle Invitational in Estero. Hosted by Florida Gulf Coast, the three-day tournament will be played at the Stonybrook Golf Course, which will be playing 6,135 yards and par 72.

The fifteen-team field consists of the host team FGC, Arkansas State, Ball State, Central Arkansas, Drake, Elon, FAU, McNeese State, Mercer, SIU, Stephen F. Austin, Toledo, USC Upstate, Western Illinois, and Xavier.

Xavier's lineup will be senior Shane Crutchfield in the number one position, followed by sophomore's Hanna Lee, Lindsey Murray, and Nina Kulkarni, and junior Rachel Johnson. Mikayla Smith will be competing as an individual.

Round one will begin Friday morning with an 8:15 shotgun start. The tournament format is stroke play with 18 holes per day.
