Lee Takes Runner-Up as Women's Golf Finishes Fourth at FGCU Eagle Invite

ESTERO, Fla. – Sophomore Hanna Lee fired a 74 on day three and finished second overall individually to lead women's golf at the FGCU Eagle Invite. The Cincinnati-native had her lowest tournament score to par as a Musketeer, finishing at 4-over to claim a runner-up finish for the first time in her career.
Xavier, as a team, finished fourth out of 15 teams. The Musketeers, as a team, were very consistent, shooting 305, 305, 306 over three rounds for a total of 916 (+52).
Senior Shane Crutchfield finished tied for 16th after a final round 77 (+5). The Florida-native led the team with eight birdies.
Sophomore Nina Kulkarni finished tied for 30th following a final round 77 (+5), while classmate Lindsey Murray rounded out the scoring with a tie for 42nd after shooting a final round 79 (+7).
Rachel Johnson had her best round of the weekend, tallying a 78 to finish 29-over and in a tie for 63rd.
Freshman Mikayla Smith closed out the tournament in a tie for 73rd with an 84.
The Musketeers return to the course on Friday, February 26th for the Rio Verde Invitational in Rio Verde, Arizona.
