Women's Tennis Comes Up Short at Purdue

CINCINNATI, OH- Xavier women's tennis dropped a 5-2 decision to Purdue on Sunday afternoon in the spring season opener in West Lafayette, Ind.

Despite a tough defeat, Sydney Liggins and her doubles partner Sophia Abelson won their No. 2 doubles match 6-2. In singles play, Liggins captured the No. 1 single match 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, while Rachael Reichenbach won her singles match at the No. 4 spot 6-2, 6-4.
